Army of One- Mechanids

Welcome to Army of One, where I display a great looking painted model from stuff I've done or amazing figures I've seen around.

If you click on the Army of One label you'll be able to scroll through some great looking figures, all at once.

Today we take a look at a Mecha- Hive Tyrant from Feast of Blades. -Enjoy MBG

Gonna be real honest here, why bother? Why bother showing amazing stuff. SB you guys just show two pictures sometimes three, no commentary, no back story, and lots of time no credit to the modeler. This looks awesome what website can i see it in more detail on? What is the stuff in the backround?

Would love to know more on this and all most all of your other posts. I understand this is a business and it takes people away from whatever else it is they do but try to do this stuff some justice. Thanks.

Wow, pretty cool stuff... I think I'll go to Feast of Blades to check it out further....

If I knew more I'd post more. A lot of times I just see stuff sitting out, and take pics. Hope that helps.

All sarcasm aside, MBG does give credit to the source (see the blue text on the Army of One page entry header?) where he can.  But when you go to a Con or a tourney, I imagine you can't always get the modeller's life story (they may be on break, at lunch, in battle, whatever).  He says right up front though that it is stuff he has seen around or done himself...  He is just exposing his customer base and fans to great models in the community- spurring ideas for conversions or techniques... I see absolutely nothing wrong with that.  In fact I appreciate it, as it can give me new ideas.
